Inspired by Orlando White's Letterrs, students wrote odes to interesting letters of the alphabet.
An Ode to Z
The letter “Z” zig zags on a piece of paper
like a broken car on the highway
The letter “Z” shakes your mouth
like the earthquake in San Fransisco
The letter “Z” reminds me of ____
__ __ last name ___ comes from

Letter “O” Poem
Simple, and delightful,
The letter “O” appear in people’s mind
Round, and smooth,
It is deep,
It can be a infinity hole;
It is close,
It can be a vanilla cake,
Small but delicious;
It is nice,
People use it over and over again,
“Good”, “cook”, “loop”, even “google”,
All the things people are delightful with.

An Ode to "Q"
Only pronounced with a companion
Yet so unique by it self
Like a fruit that fell on Newton’s head
Colling on its side
Like fluffy candy spun from carnival air
For a female, this symbol depicts
Cute but cunning it’s markings bear

Z
The letter “Z” flows with ease as you write it.
It makes my tongue tingle as I speak.
A “Z” looks like a squiggly line and is fun to say.
It sounds like a hum.

Successfully Mastering the "S" sound
The sandy supreme sock
Slips successfully into the shiny shoes
Which slip sown the science stairs
Science is service said the super science teacher
The successful lacrosse coach sounds stick sticking to the super sport squads.
